After my graduation I was asked by AH to go to set up my graduation thesis as a pilot and to coordinate it at a branch on the Zuidas in Amsterdam. It concerned its own bicycle delivery service, for which everything had to be developed and arranged (website, bicycles, communication). As project coordinator I was in charge of this.
AH to go had partnered with BP to serve customers better who are 'on the move'. AH to go has already focused on those who are always 'on the go' offering fresh and good food and drinks during their trip. Now with this new commitment, they wanted to make themselves even more accessible with their product range: Easy, healthy and tasty! To celebrate the opening of these branches, a special opening campaign 'Lekker Bakkie' was set up, in which it was communicated that all coffee only cost € 1. I was jointly responsible for the realization of this campaign and the coordination with the new BP locations.
I was partly responsible for establishing a loyalty program at AH to go. In AH to go's mission to make "good food to go accessible to everyone", we also wanted to make saving easier through our AH to go app. This app was developed in collaboration with our suppliers and my task was to assist with this, to arrange the communication facilities for both customers and colleagues in the AH to go stores.
To inform colleagues in the store about the new mobile application that we were going to introduce, we made an instructional video. We clarified the various mobile application options, such as virtual savings for free products and daily offers. We have placed the extended video on the intranet for the staff to watch. The video you see here is a shortened version of the instruction video in which I explain the application (in Dutch).
During my first internship at the head office at Ahold (now Ahold Delhaize) I worked in the Commerce department, for the categories 'Paper & Petcare' and 'Health'. I was the first point of contact in guiding new tenders with suppliers for existing products, but also for the introduction of new products. One of the products we introduced in my time as an intern was a new 4-ply toilet paper, which you can see on the left. Learned a lot in maintaining contact with suppliers, performing competitive analyzes and experiencing up close how the products end up in the store from A to Z.
